Abstract

Unequal and (also) alone? Opportunity structures, representations of work and perceptions of trade unions among young Italian adults

The paper focuses on the relationship between perceptions of work and perceptions of trade unions among young Italian adults. After analysing how the representations of young people engaged in the transition to the employment system have changed, the article analyses how young people today understand trade unions and their level of confidence in their ability to represent them. Finally, it develops some points for consideration in the future.
